Elegibility

GENERAL :

The TransCanada 2024 is an invitation-only event and any crew wishing to participate must meet the eligibility criteria and present a vehicle that also meets the vehicle eligibility criteria.

For a crew to be eligible, it is necessary that :

The crew is made up of two people.
The two people making up the crew can only be those whose names appear on the registration form. If a change should occur, the crew must notify the TransCanada 2024 Organization in writing and without delay. Changing the name of one or both of a crew without prior notice to the TransCanada 2024 Organization would result in the exclusion of the said crew.
The two people making up the crew are each in possession of a valid passport must exceed at least one month the duration of their stay in Canada and, depending on their country of residence, a visa, or an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to be, admitted to re-enter Canada.
At least one of the two people hold a driving license for cars, valid at least until November 1st, 2024, and, for certain driving licenses from certain countries, it is credited with at least one skill point.
The crew provide three colour photos of their vehicle to the registration form (Photos required: ¾ front, ¾ back, profile)
• The crew accepts and complies with all directives and instructions issued by the TransCanada 2024 Organization.

FOR A VEHICLE TO BE ELIGIBLE AND TO REGISTER, IT IS NECESSARY THAT :

Have been, built between January 1st, 1945, and December 31st, 1995
Have a valid registration from its country of origin.
Have a valid insurance that covers the vehicle and its occupants in Canada.
Pass the brief technical inspection of TransCanada upon delivery for the maritime shipment to Canada, or, for North American crews, upon receipt in Canada.
To be able to reach a speed of 60 Km/h.

Registration :

The attached registration form and certificate must be, returned to the TransCanada 2024 Organization, duly completed, and signed.

Any incomplete registration request will be, considered void.
The unsigned or partially signed certificate will render the registration incomplete.
Any registration request will only be, considered when, the TransCanada 2024 Organization receive the deposit amount.
Participation in TransCanada takes place in the order of arrival of the duly completed registration forms and receipt of the deposit.
The number of vehicles participating in the TransCanada 2024 is, limited to fifty.
The cars will be, selected by the Organizing Committee of the TransCanada which will remain alone judge to accept or refuse an application and this without having to justify the reasons for its decision.
The crews selected by the Organizing Committee of TransCanada 2024 will be, notified by email as soon as possible.
A vehicle changed after the Organizing Committee of the TransCanada 2024 have previously accepted it, is subject to further approval and offers no guarantee that the new vehicle is, accepted.
The total amount of the deposit will be, returned to crews who have not been, selected will be the same amount that will have been, received in Canadian dollars.
